Matea Kulić is a Vancouver-based writer and mother of two. She holds a certificate from SFU’s The Writer’s Studio and an MA from SFU’s Graduate Liberal Studies program. Her poetic and academic inquiry into maternal ideologies during her graduate studies earned her the Ewan Clark Memorial Prize. Kulić’s poetry and critical texts have appeared in Room Magazine, The Capilano Review, Demeter Press, and Anstruther Press among others. She has dedicated over a decade of her professional career to amplifying BC literary culture as an arts administrator, editor, mentor, and advocate.
